Billie Jo Frey Bio
Billie was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. In 2000, Billie relocated to Salt Lake City for the opportunity to ski six months a year. Billie’s Seal Point Siamese cat, Yeti, was very loving and Billie wanted to share Yeti’s affection with others. Billie found Utah Animal Assisted Therapy Association (UAATA) in 2004 and became certified with Yeti. A few years later, UAATA became Therapy Animals of Utah (TAU). Billie and Yeti visited seniors at care centers for six years. Billie has been a member of TAU’s Board and is currently the Volunteer Coordinator. Billie enjoys assisting with Pet Partner’s Handler Training Course, Evaluations and events where she can spread the word of TAU.

Billie lives in West Haven with her husband, Golden Retrievers – Dobi and Gracie – and Mooche the cat. Billie and Gracie are working towards becoming a registered therapy team.
